On March 4, Brush 30 was dispatched to Surry to assist with a brush fire. Approximately 4-6 acres were involved. Engine 31 and additional manpower was requested.
Surry, Dendron and Rushmere were able to contain and extinguish the fire.
Brush 30 and Engine 31 returned to IOW.
