On March 9th, in the late afternoon, Station 30 was called out to a brush fire on Burswell Bay road. Chief 30, Brush 30, Engine 32 and Tanker 30 arrived at the location. Fortunately there wasn’t a threat to a structure upon arrival. The Rushmere Volunteers quickly contained and extinguished the fire. Engine 32 and Brush 30 did the attack on the fire. Foam was sprayed on the burnt ground to ensure the fire would not come back.
Here are some pictures of Rushmere in action!
Special thanks to Ms. Epperley for the great pictures!
