About Rushmere Vol. Fire Department

I sincerely welcome you to the Rushmere Volunteer Fire Department. We are a small department that consist of 25 Firefighters, a Ladies Auxiliary, and Support Services personnel. Together, we provide safe and efficient service to Northern Isle of Wight County. Our department also provides Mutual Aid services to Surry County, as the second due company to Surry Nuclear Power Station.
